Speling
I know! I know! I spelled "announcement" wrong.
I can view the workflow tab,
I can view the workflow tab, did you want that?
Great podcast
Thanks for the great podcast. It would help me to have a more in-depth intro section that expands more on (1) typical uses of this functionality, and (2) how using these modules compares and contrasts with other methods. Life forum postings, in this case? Or, edit/moderator review that story/book/pages nodes can be subject to. -Karl
Less generic info, more new concepts
This is a useful, beginning example, but I can also think of some room for improvement.
It's a fair assumption that anyone ready for this module already knows how to enable a module, so that whole section at the beginning couuld be omitted. On the other hand, people may not know what actions or workflow are, so those could use some explanation. Also, the transitions page needs more explanation, as it's not obvious what the rows and columns mean.

Part deux
Jeff,
Great instructions.
Don't assume anything, it makes an ASS out of U and ME.;) Adding a part two with more advanced concepts would be nice, though.
the box announcement in the editor page
Hello Jeff,
thank you for the contribute, I have a question for you:
I installed workflow and action module on my test website and implemented a very simple workflow for the publishing of blogs (from unplublished to published in the home or to published but non in the home).
I thougth it was working well untill I saw your video: all the change of status on my site are aviable just from the workflow tab: I cant see anywere in the editor node the box with the name of workflow.
Were can be the problem?
thank you!

Quicktime...
Please consider not using Quicktime for videos. I want to see your videos but don't want to install Quicktime. Why not use a more widespread format like mpg?
Video not working
This video is broken! Please fix :(
Need clarification - Workflow ??
Jeff, Its an useful podcast.
By the way, I need one clarification: In this workflow model, Is it possible for the submitter (or user who blogs) to move the article for approval by selecting a specific user from the list of moderators. Such that only the moderator who receives the mail notification from the submitter should be able to approve the blog/article.
FYI, Assume there are N no. of moderators/reviewers and user wants to get it reviewed from a specific moderator/reviewer to review/approve it before it is published.
Yes, No quick time please
Quick time never works for me. It creates more problem than anything. So I am not a quicktime fan. No more quick time please. You tube or some thing more neutral.
Flash Player for Drupal
about this quick time stuff... would be nice to have a videocast about flash video players for drupal...
Great Video
That's exactly what i wanted!
Thanks!
OK so now how do you do this
OK so now how do you do this in Drupal 6?
I want to set up a writer group that can update/create stories, but not push them live; and an editor group that can review, edit and push. I'm at a loss how to do this in Drupal 6.
Perhaps it is time for an updated video—I'll be your best friend if you do one!
Hmmm...
I'll put some thought into this. We'll certainly need to figure it out when we move this site over to Drupal 6.
